transducer cable, transducer couplant, batteries, nylon padded carrying case and a

output proportional to flow and combination battery charger/power supply
which allows the unit to be used for extended periods of time when used
with a recorder or other similar instrument. This unit also can be
supplied with either a 115V-60Hz flat blade or 220V-50Hz round European
prong type plug charger/power supply. |

| HFM-3 |
An intelligent ultra light weight handheld
Doppler flowmeter utilizing a user friendly programmable microprocessor
which allows the operator to preselect either Metric or English
engineering units. The flowmeter features a 16 character display of
flow in GPM, FT3/SEC, GPD, MGPD or L/SEC. Velocity can be
displayed in FT/SEC or M/SEC and accumulated flow to seven digits in
gallons or liters. The system also features a 4-20mA output and a
digital filter for data smoothing and adjustable response time, RS 232
compatibility is optional. Power is supplied by rechargeable nickel
cadmium batteries. Flowmeter is supplied complete with transducer,
one meter long transducer cable, transducer couplant, batteries, nylon
padded carrying case and calculator style battery charger/power supply
with either a 115V-60Hz flat blade or 220V-50Hz round European prong type

direct indication of volume in GPM for pipe sizes of 1 inch to 14
inches. The velocity/GPM LCD display has 12.5mm high characters for
ease of viewing. Power is supplied by rechargeable nickel cadmium
batteries. Unit comes complete with transducer, one metre long
transducer cable, transducer couplant, batteries, nylon padded carrying case and a
calculator style battery charger with either a 115V-60Hz flat blade or 220V-50Hz round European prong type plug. |

| HFM-5E/M |
A complete, light weight, compact, handheld
Doppler flowmeter covering a switch selectable range of 0.5 to 20 ft/sec
or 0.3 to 6 m/sec. This unit contains a LCD velocity readout with 12.5 mm high characters for ease of viewing, a self-powered, non-volatile
8 digit LCD totalizer readout, a LED which indicates when the return
signal strength is sufficient for reliable flow indications and a 4-20mADC
output proportional to flow velocity.
The flowmeter comes complete with;
- Nickel-cadmium batteries,
- Calculator-style battery charger/power supply which
allows the flowmeter to be used for extended periods when AC power is
available*,
- Transducer,
- One metre long transducer cable,
- acoustical couplant.
The flowmeter is housed in an aluminum enclosure.
All accessories and flowmeter are packaged in a soft nylon padded carrying
case with shoulder strap.
* Adapter cable enabling the flowmeter to be operated from a typical
automotive style battery (flowmeter requires a minimum power input of 12 VDC @
750 mA) for remote installations where no AC power is available. |
